RoxenCMS 5.4Content Editor Manual

Content Editor Manual

Introduction

This manual describes how to create and edit content using the Roxen CMS tools and interfaces. The users of the Roxen CMS Insite Editor is required only to be familiar with basic text formatting, such as bold and italic text, and with basic web terms such as links and URLs (Internet addresses).

In the following chapters, the manual will explain how a content editor creates, edits, and removes pages, inserts images, formats text, and does all of the things necessary to keep a site up to date.

The manual is divided into two parts. The first part documents the Insite Editor. This is the easiest way to edit content on your site. It demands no technical knowledge of the user, and the interfaces are simple and procedures often self-evident. The name Insite Editor comes from the fact that the editing tools are integrated into the site itself.

The second part explains the SiteBuilder Editor. This interface is available for users with more advanced needs, and requires a better understanding of the Roxen CMS repository and tools. Several features are available in the SiteBuilder Editor that are not available in the Insite Editor.
